Michael Marchi, CIC began his insurance career at The Manuel Lujan Agencies in 1972 as a Personal Lines Producer. He is a risk consultant for large commercial clients, specializing in technology, manufacturing and tribal risks (including casinos). Michael received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1987 and was recognized in 2018, by the Independent Insurance Agents of New Mexico, as Outstanding Producer of the Year for his distinguished service and dedication to the insurance industry of New Mexico.
Over the past 50 years, Michael has received many leadership awards including from the Police Athletic League and Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation Associates. He has also published several articles on “Innovative Ways Safety and Health Programs Can Reduce Injuries and Worker’s Compensation Costs,” published in the Presbyterian Occupational Health Network.
Michael has also been active on many civic and community boards including: Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, Police Athletic League, Pueblo of Sandia Health Advisory Board, Catholic Charities, State of New Mexico Regulations & Licensing Board, and the Wilson Lectureship Board.
